Growers are our customers. We help them procure inputs more efficiently at the best value, by streamlining the procurement process with our technology and introducing them to new and novel products.
We combine historical inputs usage data and with your upcoming crop protection and fertilizer needs to create your individual plan. Our platform organizes your data into a simple to understand plan for your farming operation. We then make recommendations on ways for you to save. Meanwhile we aggregate demand from growers like you and bid to strategic suppliers well in advance of the need. Our efficient bidding process enables suppliers to give us the most competitive price possible.
We are product agnostic and are not incentivized by retailers. We give growers all the options available and let them decide what’s best for their situation.
The HarvestPort model is committed to providing value for each of the primary stakeholders in the Ag supply chain - grower, agronomist, retailer, and supplier. We focus on transparency and service to get the best value inputs for our grower customers and to make it easy for retailers to connect with growers in our network. Our goal is to provide two-sided value, by efficiently connecting grower to supplier and introducing innovative solutions that may have gone unnoticed. Unlike other Ag marketplaces like Farmers Business Network and AgVend, we work for the grower and connect directly with retailers in order to make all operations more efficient.

Our goal is to make it easy and more efficient for you to get the best price for the inputs you need. We streamline the procurement process between grower and supplier, minimizing the work on your end and maximizing your savings. We often bid to the same retailers you currently work with.
When you buy through HarvestPort, you no longer need to bid directly to each retailer. We streamline this process by using centralized bidding to get the best value inputs for your needs. Since HarvestPort works directly with the retail channel the retailers decide how to integrate your reps into the process - product support from your current rep is still an available resource.
HarvestPort Input is our custom procurement group farmers join and pay for to benefit from pre-negotiated prices on crop inputs. To get started we first want to better understand your procurement goals. From there we will help you plan your needs for the upcoming season and share pricing for your individual forecast.
Growers are required to become a HarvestPort member to join our Inputs program. There is currently no membership fee to join. We consider all growers with an account a HarvestPort member. We require membership to build an accurate profile so we can personalize the procurement service based on your specific situation.
As a member, growers get access to HarvestPort’s real-time pricing, planning & forecasting tools and the ability to order inputs. The HarvestPort app is an easy-to-use tool that helps farming operations streamline their seasonal purchases.
Sign up at harvestport.com/inputs. Our grower outreach team will be in touch to determine if you qualify for our beta membership. To qualify for our beta membership you must farm specialty crops in the Western Region or row crops in the Midwest.
